Hi, I’m Rachel
Investing in your leadership, whether with time, energy, or money, is a bold move.
I respect that.
Which is why I only work with first-time leaders who are ready to meet this next chapter head-on.
If you’re a first-time senior leader with ambition and courage, but with a quiet voice asking, “Am I really cut out for this?” , you’re in the right place.
But before we talk about how I can help, you deserve to know who I am, what I bring, and why I care deeply about this work.
And if, by the end of this page, you feel like we’d be a strong fit?
Reach out.
I’d love to support you in stepping up and leading in a way that finally feels like you.
With two decades in HR across healthcare, media, tech, and travel, I’ve coached and partnered with leaders at every level - from high-potential managers to CEOs in the thick of major change.
I’ve seen what strong leadership creates - and what weak leadership costs.
I’ve watched talented people shrink in roles they worked hard to earn. And I’ve sat beside brilliant leaders quietly wondering if they belong in the rooms they fought to get into.
That’s why I work with first-time senior leaders.
Because this is one of the most defining moments of your career. And yet, the moment you step up, the development drops off.
- No more feedback loops.
- No tailored support.
- Just higher stakes, trickier dynamics, and the pressure to prove you’ve got it all handled.
What you don’t need is another generic leadership course with a one-size-fits-all approach.
You need grounded support that sharpens your leadership, strengthens your presence, and meets you at the level you’re now leading.
This isn’t about “fixing” you.
It’s about giving you the space and support to lead in a way that finally fits - and feels like yours.
Why I work with first-time senior leaders
I’ve been there, I get it.
I remember my first role in senior leadership well - up late worrying, second-guessing decisions, trying to navigate tricky team dynamics, burning myself out trying to prove myself. It felt overwhelming, and for a while, I thought I ‘fake it ‘til you make it’ was the best strategy I had.
Turns out, it wasn’t.
What I really needed was support, a space to think out loud, to be challenged, and to learn. I found that through mentors, coaches, and peers who’d walked the path before me.
They helped me see that leadership isn’t something you magically are, it’s something you practice. Over time, I built the tools, confidence and clarity I needed to lead in a way that actually felt like me.
Now, that’s the work I get to do with others.
I support first-time senior leaders like you find their footing, trust themselves, and lead with purpose. Not by ‘faking it’, but by doing the deep, often uncomfortable, but always rewarding work of growing into the leader they were meant to be.
Beyond the bio
Great leadership doesn’t come from pretending to have it all figured out.
It comes from showing up, as yourself.
So here’s a glimpse into my world:
I’m a proud mum of two energetic boys, who keep me grounded and on my toes.
Yoga, mountain biking, and time outdoors are how I recharge (and stay sane).
I have a deep love of travel - new places spark new perspective, whether they’re five miles or five time zones away.
I’m endlessly inspired by brilliant humans, their kindness, humour, ambition, or wisdom. I believe we all have something to give and something to learn.
My values
Bring ambition
I care deeply about the work I do and I bring that same energy to the people I coach. I believe real change is possible when we care enough to try, and commit enough to keep going. I’ll challenge you to think bigger, trust yourself more, and stay with the hard stuff. Growth can be uncomfortable. But I’m not here to make you comfortable, I’m here to help you grow.
Embrace change
I’m not the same person I was ten years ago. Honestly, I hope I won’t be the same person ten years from now either. Growth means change. And leadership is growth on fast-forward. It asks you to stay curious, stay open, and be willing to question what used to work. My job is to help you learn, unlearn, and keep evolving, even when it feels messy.
Nurture the whole
You’re not just a job title. You’re a human being, living a full and complex life. I don’t believe in growing one part of you at the expense of the rest. If your goals are big, your foundations need to be strong. That means looking at your values, boundaries, energy, and relationships -not just your to-do list. This isn’t about burnout. It’s about building something that lasts.
